I grew up in New York City Metropolitan area and have spent most of life exploring the Northeast extensively. Ever since I was young I always had a passion for traveling and venturing out into the wild. There was always a strong curiosity in me always wondering what’s at the next mountain ridge or where the random dirt road I found leads down. In my free time though I love exploring my home New York City and spending time in my favorite bar in the East Village. Summit Bar!
My good friend and I started this site after having a few drinks at Point Pleasant, NJ at “old man tiki” and deciding that we needed to share our adventures and that we would just jump right into it. I will forever always remember that day because every free moment we had afterwards we went on adventures at an aggressive pace. We had fun rules like if one of us thinks of an idea no matter how bad it is we will do it. That spirit even years later still rings true for us both and has led us on many adventures!
I hope our work on this site inspires you all to go out and do something! Anything! Just go venture out and explore!

I come from the small country of El Salvador, my family moved to Los Angeles, CA where we lived for a few months before establishing ourselves in a small town in northern NJ. Living in a few different cities in my childhood gave different way of viewing the world and taught me to adapt and adjust.
